Memorial Weekend

For the Memorial Weekend Chris's sister Andrea and her family had planned to come visit. Unfortunately, for them, they had last minute car troubles and couldn't make it... fortunately, for us, we had a sweet new ride that we had been wanting to take a road trip with. So, within the hour we were on our way to Lansing, Michigan via Canada. It was a whirlwind of a trip, but it was really fun! Thanks so much, Andrea and Tyler, for letting us come and showing us a great time.

Lorenzo had so much fun with his cousins.

Show and Tell

Okay, so i know that I haven't exactly been there for you (blogging world), but I have been busy.

These photo books are sooo adorable. I made this one for me and then decided to do the same for our Moms for Mother's Day. They turned out so cute...I had only intended to make this one for me but I think I will make another one with more recent pictures in it. Thank you Amy Butler for this craft and cute fabric.

This is the diaper bag that i love. Thank you Amy Butler for the great material and the very difficult to understand pattern. When I first showed it to Chris he asked if it was for carrying the baby. As you can see it is definitely big enough to do that. Oh...and I thought you all would like to see how huge I am.

Next, I made these sweet owls. Aren't they darling?!? Thank you Joannes for the really cute idea.

Then I had the great idea off making Lorenzo a quilt. I think that it turned out really good. It was a much bigger project than I thought it was going to be, but at least I finished it and the matching bedskirt. I just need to paint his bed frame and bring that in and then the bed will be complete. Maybe I'll make some throw pillows for it.....NO Way!

Spreading the Love

This last week one of my good friends (Rachel) made a post about joining the LOve ChAin. This is how it works. She made a post about giving service, kindness and love to others and the first five commenters to that post would receive a homemade goodness from her.....but.... in return they have to offer the same incentive on their own blog. And so on and so forth....

Well, somehow I was lucky enough to be one of her first five. So...now it is my turn to put a few chinks in the chain. My only stipulation is that you won't receive your awesome homemade something until you have posted your Love ChaIn message.

PS don't expect something really amazing because you will probably be let down.

PPS for those of you out of Buffalo please send me your address so that I can send it to you.  rozannah@gmail.com

Bounce Magic

After the really scary experience of Chucky Cheese on a Friday night, I was a little leery to try Bounce Magic this last weekend....It was awesome. Lorenzo had soo much fun and so did Chris. Unfortunately, I am in no condition to be bouncing around. Candice found out about this place from her hairdresser and it sounded like a pretty fun place. Only the kids are charged... $10 (pretty steep, I know, but if mom and dad want to bounce too they can... so three for the price of 10 bucks isn't really that bad)

The place is full of bounce houses and little put-put golf. They also have arcade games and food. The best part though is that they have an under 4 play area so your little ones won't get the bejeezes jumped out of them by the big kids. the big kids are CRAzy!!..and will run your baby over without any remorse.

We had a great time!! Thanks Candice for the awesome find and for being the super best gym partner.

Separation Anxiety

When Chris goes back to school at night you would think, from Lorenzo's reaction, that he just told Lorenzo that he never wants to see him again. This is, of course, not true.....but try explaining that to a very emotional 19 month old. He cries until he sees Dad's picture on the bookcase and then he begs for it, snuggles it and eventual calms down.

Update

Wow!!! Who knew I could look so Hot!!......Well, this picture pretty much sums up the past few months.

Just kidding......I know that I have totally fallen off the "Blog Wagon" but don't worry I'm back.

Okay....first and foremost I am Pregnant! We are all (including Lorenzo) very excited and are anxiously awaiting Baby's arrival in late June.

Secondly to explain the above picture...Every time the Trockels get together at least one person must get hurt, I was the lucky one this time.

Lexi and Anika had both gone caving in Snow Canyon and convinced us that it would be a good time. They were right!!! It was really, really fun. We took glow sticks down with us and when we got to the big cavern at the end we broke them and flung the juice all over the walls and ourselves....then we played hide and go seek...it was pretty sweet.
On the hike out I stood up when I wasn't supposed to....hence the bleeding head. Thankfully it was at the end of the excursion and not the begining.

Also, while visiting my family in St. George. Mark, Whitney and Quinn stopped by to say hello. It was, as Quinn would say, Awesome to see them. I love you guys and I really wish we lived closer......I never realized I was so short.

After visiting St. George we went to stay with my Big Brother Ezra in Lehi. It was really great staying with him and Ashley....Thanks so much for having us.

Christopher was lucky enough to hold the Olympic Torch.

Chris says he wants Lorenzo to get into this....Thankfully we don't live close enough to a training facility for that to be a logical desire.

It was great seeing all the Olympic stuff in Park City and I was really fun hanging out with Chris's cousins.

Well......MARTY got married. They are really happy! Thats great.
