Twisp River

This is the swimming hole by the Grandma and Grandpa's house. The boys liked to go swimming there after work. One day Paul brought his thermometer and it was 53 degrees. I only swam one of the days we were there...that is a little too cold for me. Lorenzo had a scary accident one day. Thankfully he had on his life jacket...and Marty wasn't too far away. He was freaked out all the way to shore and then he wanted to do it again.

Notice the boredom on his face....he decided to do a little rocking after this.
OHHHH....the terror!!....Am I a bad mom because I was photographing this, instead of freaking out?

Our trip across the country

I asked Lorenzo if he wanted his face up on the mountain too. This is how excited he was about that idea.

fun times

Enzo and Solo LOVE their cousins. A day doesn't go by that they don't beg to see them.

Solomon's first birthday!

Well, Chris thinks that there is something wrong with me, and maybe there is. I am sorry that I love to have themes for everything. So, the theme for Solomon's birthday was fishing. He loves his little magnetic fishing pole so I thought...why not have a fish party. It was alot of fun and he loved it. Thank you again to my amazing husband who hand crafted the cupcake boats and the origami koi fish on the table. Thank you to Deseree' the best Aunt ever for the tres leches, the fish plates and for helping fold the awesome newspaper cups. Candice thanks for taking some pictures for me with I was still running around like a chicken with her head cut off.

Solomon's family party

You might also think I am nuts because I usually give my kids two parties. One for everyone and one for family. What?? Birthdays are big for me! Thanks must go out to Tops Friendly Market for their "free cake for the first bday".
