Lorenzo's 5th Birthday

Lorenzo told me he wanted an Avenger's party. I thought that would be a little too much for me, so I asked if it would be okay to have a Captain America Party. He went for it and we were both happy. Everyone had a great time. Chris was in charge of entertainment, so of course all the kids had a blast. Lorenzo couldn't stop smiling.

The Captain America Action figure on his cake came with a parachute attachment. After dessert we launched him in the rocket and the kids tried to catch him.

I found this idea on pinterest for a punch box piñata. It was supposed to have individual compartments, but that was a little too time intensive for me. Chris ended up inside of the box and would hand the candy bags through the punch hole. Solomon especially loved it and has requested it for his party.

Lorenzo started school on his birthday. We enrolled him in a Summer Pre-K program. He loves it. We miss him when he is gone, but i don't think he misses us. He has so many friends and they do such fun things....and there is a girl there....
