Sailing

The last day we were in Bellingham, Uncle Dale took Lorenzo sailing.



He really liked his new life-jacket and hanging off the edge of the boat.


The last couple days of our trip were spent with our good friends from Hawaii, Spencer and Ashley...and their new adorable son, Van. They are awesome and I totally miss living by them. Thanks Guys for letting us crash with you.

Watkins Glen

This place was really amazing...none of my pictures can do it justice, but this is the best one.



















While in the gorge there was a down pour. We spent about 20 minutes under this little ledge. WE didn't care about getting wet...the CAMERA did though.

Camping

This last weekend we were lucky enough to make it to the Finger Lakes Region. Our first spot was Sampson State Park. We camped with Deseree' and Ryan's Family...our hobo dinners were delicious as were the smores....of course.











































On our way to Watkin's Glen we stopped at a YOu PIck BlueBerry place. It was sooo Good!! Lorenzo loved them and I can honestly say that now his poop smells like blueberrys.

Lorenzo and Avery turn ONE

Because Avery and Lorenzo are just one day apart we decided to have a joint Birthday
Party . It was a small event consisting of mostly family. Incase you couldn't tell, Lorenzo really enjoyed the cake or should I say the frosting.

365 Days

It is hard to believe that so many days can go by soo fast. One year ago I had a tiny baby and now.... I have this little monster.






























This wagon was Chris's present to Lorenzo. Both of them absolutely love it. Lorenzo is happiest riding it while standing up.....He is without a doubt his Fathers son.

Ice Cream Thief

The other night we had the missionaries over for dinner. For dessert we had Ice cream Cones. Needless to say, mine was stolen by Lorenzo. He was really good about sharing with me and he was enjoying it very much so we were both sad when it ended like this......Unfortunate!

Swim Lessons

Saturday Swimmer

Lorenzo couldn't wait to get into the water. Oh......he started walking last week.

We have lessons at the YMCA every Saturday for the next seven weeks.

FEARS

1. earwigs. just thinking about them gives me the willies.....ugh

2. the dark. okay, i'm not totally scared of the dark, i don't sleep with nightlites or anything, but when it is pitch black it scares me

3. waves. i love swimming and i love the ocean, but waves (big waves) really scare me. they make me feel all sick in the stomach and when i dive under them sometimes i think i may never see the sky again. 

GOALS

1. i want to be able to run again....for an extended amount of time.

2. to have a clean house for two days in a row.

3. to own a restaurant/gallery

OBSESSIONS/COLLECTIONS

1. Martha Stewart. i don't know what to say..... I love her.

2. Flowers. I recently purchased 5 grocery bags full of flower bulbs. Also, I discovered that a bush in our back yard is a lilac bush...everyday i go to it, cup the buds in my hands and whisper "i love you".  I am weird

3. Kitchen items. teapot, cake plate, spring form pans, parchment paper...i obsess over it all

RANDOM/SURPRISING FACTS

1. i didn't go to high school. i went to public school until 7th grade, i then did home school/private school (BFA) for 2 years and then i got my GED when i was 17.

2. the last time i went to prom i was 23. not as a chaperone either. 

3. i asked Chris to marry me. its true. he said no. its true. 2 years later he asked me. i said yes.... its true.
