Family pictures

I really wanted some pictures of the boys and I together. Chris said that he would take them and I was happy to let him.

Stitches....this post contains BLOOD

This is what happens when you are accustomed to dull knives and then your sweet husband sharpens them for you (i love sharp knives). I was actually washing the knife, and right before i cut myself I thought, "I sure am washing this knife like an idiot, this is how people cut themselves."

Chris new immediately that i would need stitches, but I was in denial....i have never had stitches before and I didn't really want them now either.  He begged for me to let him stitch me up. When I showed some reluctance he said, "come on, this is what I have been training for!" So rather than spend four hours at the ER I let my husband stitch me up. It was painful, I am not going to lie, but he did do a good job. The boys were a little unsure of what was going on.
I hope you like my one handed, no looking pictures

M-O-N-T-A-N-A Montana We love you!

On our way back from Washington we were lucky enough to get to spend a few days in the Motherland. There is just something about the place....and I am not just talking about the Flathead area or the Fort Shaw area. As soon as I cross that state boarder something in my soul stirs and I feel home.  (i know that sounds totally lame...don't judge!)

Anyway it was amazing, and we had such a good time. Chris got to go fly fishing with Jesse and was instantly in love...i think with fishing and Jesse. Then Chris let Jesse shoot his bow and it was Jesse's turn to fall in love. Later in the visit Jesse took Chris flying over the valley and now he keeps dreaming about some million dollar airplane. Lorenzo was in heaven...COUSINS....need I say more?

Thank you Brookiie and Jesse for letting us stay with you!

The Saddest part of our Summer Vacation was the loss of our Car. It was a victim of over-salted roads here in New York. The brakelines rusted out and exploded (thankfully not while I was driving...i would have freaked out!). Thankfully Papa Lee had a sweet white van that he wanted out here anyway. So we said goodbye to red and moved into the white. Just to give you an idea of how much Solomon liked it, he started puking about 10 minutes into our cross country drive. Needless to say it wasn't fun. But you do what you gotta to do.

Solo and Enzo's first horse ride

Don't be fooled by their expressions. The boys really did have a good time. Bart Bradshaw (from the Twisp Ward) was soo great. He gave Enzo really good instructions and was very patient and the horse, Jesse, was such a sweetheart. I love horses and I was really jealous that I didn't get to ride.

Black Pine Lake

This lake is such a few miles up the road and it was considerably warmer than the river. Enzo is so funny...he really liked riding off the dock, but more than that I think he likes telling people he rode off the dock.

I am sooo proud to have one picture where Joshua isn't shooting daggers with his eyes.

Summer Vacation in Twisp, WA

We had a lot of fun visiting Grandma Linda and Grandpa Paul. We did some shooting, hiking, swimming, exploring, foraging, and a lot of playing.....I guess the guys did do some work too (that is an understatement). Cousin Joshua was also there to keep us company and Marty and Allisa came to visit as well. One thing we did that I don't have a picture of, that Lorenzo really enjoyed, was feeding the trout and the Fish Hatchery.
