I have been wanting one of these for...ummm....maybe my whole life. Finally, the wait is over. This is the carrot cake that I made for it's Christening. That was the best carrot cake of my life. I still have a couple pieces if anyone wants a piece.

OK, so I suck at remembering Birthdays. FACT: My brothers’ birthday is 1 day before mine. FACT: I totally forgot it this year. Pretty bad huh? Love your cake plate! happy birthday!! i am way jealous of the cake plate. i have seriously been wanting one for forever too. every time i go to ross or a thrift store i am always looking for a cool retro one. but then i convince myself not to buy it cause i will be moving from hawaii and will not be able to take it with me. your looks great! and the cake looks delicious!!

I totally agree with you on the cake plate. Jeff bought me one several months ago from Ross for $10 and I LOVE it! It seriously makes a homemade cake even better! I'm glad your birthday way so great. You deserve it lady!
